Olive Garden Luncheon
HEROES HAPPEN! So proud of our class this year. They raised $536.00 for the Leukemia Foundation's annual drive called "Pennies for Patients." The students were challenged to bring in their extra pennies in order to collectively as a school, put together a sizable donation to help patients suffering from Leukemia. This year, my homeroom heroes collected more than mere pennies and raised a record breaking amount. The prize for the winning class was a free lunch, catered by the Olive Garden restaurant in Downey. - Ida for personally bringing in $125.00 which she collected at her generous church;
